Step1. Connect one end of the USB cable to the computer USB port and the other end to the Super ScanEYE connection pin.

Step2.
In SuperscanEYE operation.
a. Power on the Super Scan-EYE and from the main menu and press “Options ” and scroll to “Advanced Options”. On the “Set Serial /IR Comm.” Option and select “Cable ” as shown.
   

b. please press ”ESC” back to “Options ” and scroll to “Advanced Options” and select “Set Baud Rate”. On the option and please select “115200 ”.as shown.
 
 
 

 

Step3.
In PC operation.
From the computer “Control Panel” => “System and Maintenance” => “Device Manager ”, open “Device Manager” as below.
Note: use Xp operation as sample.

 

 

 

Step4. Under the “Ports (COM &LPT)”,click and find「Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port」. And check the com port information as shown.
EX:
「Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port」 COM4 is the sample default.

Note: If you can not find 「Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port」on Device Manager , please install driver again.

Step5. Once the connection port is selected successfully, right-click on this communication port and select content to open “Communication port Properties ” dialogue box..

Step6. on the “Port Settings” Tab, set the bits per second to be 115200 and click “OK ”.

Step7. From Super ScanEYE Desktop menu and select “Pen Communications”=>
“communications settings ” to open “communications settings ” dialogue box.

 

Step8. Please refer to com port setting on Step4 to set “port” option and refer to Baud Rate setting on Step6 to set the “Baud Rate” and press “OK ” to complete the connection.

Step9.
a. Insert the USB connector side to a USB socket on your PC.
b. Connect the plug side to the PC-Link connector socket on your Pen.

Step10.after finished the Pen Communications, please run “Communications Wizard” again to complete the connection.
